                   A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 18741,
                   ENCAPTIONED "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
                   DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
                   TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PROFESSIONAL
                   SERVICES, INC. FOR THE DESIGN OF THE
                   NORTHWEST GEORGIA REGIONAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER
                   SYSTEM FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE
                   HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
                   ($325,000.00), WITH SAID AMOUNT TO BE
                   REIMBURSED BY AREAS DESCRIBED HEREINBELOW."
                   SO AS TO DELETE "THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($325,000.00)" AND
                   SUBSTITUTE IN LIEU THEREOF "FOUR HUNDRED
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($400,000.00)" AND SO AS TO
                   AMEND AMOUNTS OF REIMBURSEMENTS MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINBELOW.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Resolution No. 18741, encaptioned
       hereinabove, be and is hereby amended so as to delete "Three
       Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($325,000.00)" and 
substitute
       in lieu thereof "Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00)";
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 18741 be and
       is hereby amended by deleting the amounts of reimbursement and
       substituting in lieu thereof the following:
       	    	 Walker County, Georgia	       	    $ 80,000.00
       	    	 Catoosa County, Georgia       	    $ 80,000.00
       	    	 Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia      	    $ 40,000.00
       	    	 Chattanooga Regional Sewer System  $200,000.00
